-
- Developing, reviewing, and revising the Campus Improvement Plan (CIP). You can find our CIP here.
-

-
- Approving campus level staff development plans and the use of discretionary funds.

WHO SITS ON THE SBDM COMMITTEE?
The SBDM members include the Principal, teachers, staff, and parent committee members. There are five parent committee members, who are elected by Dealey parents each spring or appointed by the Principal.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SBDM & THE PTA?
The PTA (Parent Teacher Association) focuses on fostering communication and cooperation between parents, teachers and staff and providing critical support to the school through fundraising and volunteering. SBDM focuses on advising the Principal on crucial decisions related to academics, safety, and community well-being. We recommend being involved in both to enhance your child’s experience at Dealey.
