Garden Cleanup

We’ll meet in the Dealey Garden located on the east side of the school between the 1-3 and 4-5 hallways to prepare the garden beds for fall planting, We’ll be weeding the overgrown beds and doing other tasks to spruce up the garden area. If you have garden. gloves, a pitch fork and/or a hand tiller, please bring them along. We will also have tools available to use.  Breakfast snacks will be provided as will bug spray and sunscreen. Please bring a water bottle. The garden area was sprayed for chiggers on August 15, but additional precautions are recommended. Please wear long pants and use bug spray. The garden work is best suited for adults and students in 4th grade or above. Younger children are welcome to help out with parent supervision. Service hour sheets will be signed!
