PRESIDENT’S LETTER

Dearest Dragons,

It is with great excitement and a deep sense of commitment that I welcome you to a new school year as your PTA President!  We welcome over 100 new families to our campus this year and together, we have the extraordinary opportunity to create a vibrant, inclusive, and inspiring environment for our students. I couldn't be more thrilled to begin this journey with all of you.

This year, we’re setting our sights on three powerful goals that will guide everything we do:

 

1. Bragging Rights – Showcasing Our Pride

Our school is doing amazing things, and it’s time the world knows it. Whether it's student achievements, outstanding teachers, or exceptional programs, we will celebrate and promote our successes with pride. Expect more recognition, social media highlights, and spotlight events that showcase the best of who we are. We’re not just proud—we’re loud!

2. Strengthening Community – Building Meaningful Connections

A strong school thrives on strong relationships. We are focused on building deeper connections between parents, staff, and students through inclusive events, open communication, and greater volunteer involvement. Whether you’re new to the school or a longtime member…you belong here.

3. Benchmarking to Be the Best – Setting the Standard

We are raising the bar this year by measuring our efforts against the best practices from other leading PTAs. Through thoughtful benchmarking, we aim to innovate, improve, and grow in ways that make a lasting impact. From fundraising and programming to parent engagement and academic support, we’re setting the standard—not following it.

 

As we begin this exciting chapter, I invite each of you to get involved in any way you can. Whether it’s volunteering your time, attending PTA meetings, or simply sharing your ideas—we are stronger when we work together. Here’s to a year of excellence, unity, and well-earned bragging rights!
