2022-2023 SBDM Committees!
Dealey’s SBDM—the “site-based decision making” group that serves as an advisory council for Principal Ibarra and her staff—is creating four committees for the 2022-23 school year. We are looking for committee members, and this is an excellent opportunity to become more directly involved in school governance. Academics: Help Dealey meet its goal of becoming “A” rated by the Texas Education Agency!
- Leadership: Alaina Livingston & Ms. Emery
Community: Help Dealey expand its culture of engagement and inclusion so that all feel a part of the Dealey family.
- Leadership: Sarah Diouf
Safety/Security: Help Dealey communicate with parents effectively on safety and security measures. And don’t prop open doors!
- Leadership: Lance Currie & Ms. Schneider
Strategic Positioning & Marketing: Help Dealey tell its “story” in a world where parents have many choices on where to send their kids.
- Leadership: Bridgett Nealey & Ms. Daroche
The committees will likely meet at least every other month. Each committee will be asked to identify goals and metrics. And each committee will be asked to include goals to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Finally, the next SBDM meeting is November 17, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. via Zoom. It’s open to all, so please join us!
